ABOUT CLUB

The Millbrook High School Wildcats have been a powerhouse on the gridiron since 1952, earning more than 30 state playoff appearances and 15+ conference championships. From back-to-back perfect seasons in 1999 and 2000 under Coach Earl Smith, to today’s leadership under Head Coach Laymarr Marshall, Millbrook football continues its proud tradition of excellence.

Now competing in the Northern Athletic Conference (NAC), the Wildcats are known not just for their success on the field, but also for building teamwork, discipline, and character that last a lifetime. Backed by strong community support, dedicated staff, and the pride of Raleigh, Millbrook football is more than a sport—it’s a family and a legacy.

We are Millbrook. We are Wildcats.

Head Football Coach`s Welcome

As a proud Millbrook alum and former Duke football player, it’s an honor to lead the Wildcats. Since 2023, my focus has been on building champions on the field and men of character off it. Our program is about more than wins—it’s about teamwork, discipline, and pride in the Millbrook community.

Officials and fouls

The seven officials on the field are each tasked with a different set of responsibilities:

  • The referee is positioned behind and to the side of the offensive backs.
  • The umpire is positioned in the defensive backfield, except in the NFL
